They grow to a maximum height of 30 cm and are diminutive succulent plants with a creeping or hanging habit. The odd, thick, oval leaves feature papillae that resemble tiny spines and are 1 cm long and 0.7 cm thick. They are deep green in color. The flowers are a 1.5 cm diameter and are either yellow or white. They can nearly always be in bloom. They are utilized in planters, hanging pots, rockeries, and as a covering for slopes. Delosperma pruinosum requires a semi-shaded environment, with direct sunlight avoided throughout the middle of the day. They cannot withstand temperatures lower than 6 oC. This species is native to South Africa. Water frequently in the summer in the hopes that the land's surface will at least be dry. When the plant requires water, the leaves frequently wrinkle. Risks are significantly lower in the winter. They can survive a brief period of drought. Every two months in the spring and summer, they appreciate a treatment with fertilizer for cactus and succulents. If used as a cover plant, they can be trimmed in the early spring to restrict growth. They have good resistance to common pests and illnesses. They are easily multiplied by seeds sowed in the spring and by cuttings taken in the spring or summer.
