Ficus elastica robusta - 19cm pot

Ficus elastica ‘robusta’ is one of the sought-after indoor plants with their broad, glossy leaves held proudly on sturdy stems. Its main attraction is the richy glossy color of the leaves. The plant should not be placed under direct sun as this will scorch the leaves, however rubber plant will not thrive well in low light areas. For optimum growth, ficus elastica ‘robusta’ prefers to be watered when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top, but avoid overwatering as this will cause leaf drop. To promote shiny foliage mist or wipe down the leaves with a damp cloth. Reduce watering in cold season as overwatering the plant will kill it.
